GVHBA logoGreater Vancouver Home Builders Association www.gvhba.org The Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association represents the residential construction industry in the Greater Vancouver Area. Dedicated to the professionalism of its members. GVHBA is affiliated with the Canadian Home Builders' Association at both the provincial and national levels. Established in 1974, it is the largest of the 10 local associations in British Columbia with more than 700 members, six full-time and one part-time staff. A Board of Directors, elected annually by the general membership, governs GVHBA.
Visoa logo 2Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association www.visoa.bc.ca The Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association (VISOA) provides services to all stratas in BC. It is an independent, non-profit organization that was formed in 1973 and is supported solely by membership fees. Membership is open to all residential strata corporations that have registered with the B.C. Land Title Office.
  • Provides information to assist strata lot owners and strata councils in the management of their strata corporations.
  • Advances the interests of strata corporations and strata lot owners to provincial, regional and municipal governments.
  • Provides information and offers educational seminars on all aspects of strata management.
 
CHOA LogoThe Condominium Home Owners Association of B.C. www.choa.bc.ca CHOA is a non-profit association that promotes the understanding of strata property living and the interests of strata property owners by providing advisory services, education, advocacy, publications and resources and support for its members. They actively assist their members, and the strata industry, to ensure strata living is a positive experience.CHOA membership includes strata corporations, individual owners, businesses that serve the strata industry, strata related associations and governmental agencies from all across British Columbia. With offices located in New Westminster (Lower Mainland), Victoria (Vancouver Island) and Kelowna (B.C. Interior & North) they are able to assist all types of strata corporations in all areas of B.C.

Members recognize re¬spon¬si¬bilities to their investors, clients and to the commu¬nity in general, when performing their duties in the management of residential rental properties, strata titled prop¬erties and any other properties under their jurisdiction.To uphold and maintain high professional, ethical and educational standards within residential property management; to provide a forum for members to interact and promote the advancement of the industry; to give an authoritative voice to the industry in its dealings with legislative and governmental bodies.
BCBEC-Logo-2British Columbia Building Envelope Council www.bcbec.com British Columbia Building Envelope Council (BCBEC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a platform for proponents of the building industry to discuss issues and exchange information on building envelope issues. BCBEC was registered under the Societies' Act in 1990. BCBEC is composed of all segments of the industry including members of governments, consultants in the building envelope field, product manufacturer's, manufacturing associations, contractors, and educators. BCBEC is comprised of approximately 350 members. The predominant mode of information sharing is by luncheon seminars held once per month. At the seminars, speakers deliver a visual presentation relating to their particular expertise.

Our membership includes manufacturers and installers of fenestration products that encompass the entire range of glass and related framing systems used in building construction: windows, doors, skylights, window walls, curtain walls, and storefronts. FEN-BC membership also includes component suppliers, door prehangers, service providers, window and door dealers, architectural and engineering professionals, and other interested parties.
