Job Description:

As a Construction Estimator, you'll utilize your expertise in reading, analyzing, and interpreting drawings to prepare accurate window estimates and assemble comprehensive bid packages. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of our estimating department and contributing to the overall growth and achievements of Centra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master our in-house software and utilize it effectively
• Conduct thorough take-offs for accurate material quantity assessment
• Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential challenges and mitigate them
• Review drawings and specifications of bids to develop precise estimates
• Utilize construction estimating software programs like WinEst and OST (On-screen Take-Off) to generate estimates
• Prepare bid packages according to tender requirements
• Foster strong relationships with our key collaborators and stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking motivated individuals who pay meticulous attention to detail and have a task-oriented approach. While previous experience in construction or estimating fields is desirable, it is not mandatory. The following qualifications and traits are highly valued:

• Proficient understanding of Architectural and Engineering specifications
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, documents, and technical procedures
• Familiarity with construction-related computer software programs (e.g., WinEst, Onscreen, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization, time management, record-keeping, and follow-up
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Adaptive nature with a willingness to go the extra mile and support team members
• Collaborative mindset, understanding how personal performance and behaviors impact the team's success
