The role:

The Director of Single Family Installations & Customer Care is accountable for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of Centra’s single-family installations and customer care teams ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations through strategy, structure and processes.

In collaboration with branch managers & service manager, the primary focus is our people and the training and mentoring they require to be successful in their roles. Secondly, meeting the expectations of our customers by offering an efficient and rewarding experience.

Core accountabilities include:

  • Relentless focus on further developing direction, alignment and commitment with all other divisions within Centra
  • Ensuring that all necessary & relevant information is passed down to managers from the leadership group and furthermore passed down to installation teams as required with both the company’s and installers best interests in mind
  • Working with Regional Manager, ensure all new hires for single family installations are on-boarded consistently branch-to-branch and that all required processes for both hiring and termination of employees is followed at all times
  • Works closely with the VP of Installations on strategic planning, training & education initiatives, growth strategy and staff development for the single family division
  • Oversees employee technical training programs & implements new training based on industry best practices
  • Acts as a liaison to industry authorities and stays abreast of leading building envelope trends, emerging best practices and changes to building code and the corresponding implications. Transfers this knowledge into installers training programs as needed and also ensures any potential impacts to the company profit/loss due to changing standards/best practices is communicated to senior leadership.
  • Accountable for employee compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Leads a long term retention strategy for the division; works with the Regional Manager and Service Manager to ensure wages, educational programs and any other workplace benefits meet or exceed market conditions and champion a winning environment
  • Resolution of high-risk issues with customers to resolve the issue and ensure the customer is satisfied with the outcome; eliminate lagging on resolutions of issues

Where will you work?

This position works collaboratively with leadership and management and requires to be in office at our headquarters in Langley, B.C.
