Position Overview

This is a hands-on position, involving the responsibility of meticulous upkeep and efficient organization of our inventory. It demands a passion for inventory management with a diverse range of responsibilities that are fundamental to our purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all products and materials in stock.
• Receive inbound shipments, confirm quantities, and assess for any damage. Prepare items for shipping when required.
• Keep inventory databases and systems up to date with current information.
• Arrange and designate inventory items for effortless retrieval and accessibility.
• Perform routine inspections to validate that physical inventory aligns with recorded quantities.
• Supervise inventory levels and instigate reordering when the need arises.
• Inspect products for quality issues and report any discrepancies.
• Generate inventory reports for management and assist in forecasting inventory needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional focus on detail and precision.
• Proficiency in computer skills, encompassing expertise in data entry and familiarity with inventory management software.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy items as required.
• Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role is a plus.
• Familiarity with the best practices in inventory management.
