Are you a motivator who can inspire, drive, and lead your team to achieve big results? We’re looking for a leader like you to be a Line Supervisor in our state-of-the-art window manufacturing plant in Langley, B.C.

Position Overview:

As a Line Supervisor you will be responsible for anything and everything relating to slider line production and lead your team to understand and believe in Centra’s vision and production goals. You will be accountable for ensuring a safe work environment, quality of production, staff performance, cost control, equipment care, and achieving the day-to-day results required as set and agreed with the Manufacturing Manager.

Core Accountabilities:

• Team – communication, managing day and night shift teams, training and development, performance, and safety
• Schedule – ensure daily and weekly targets are met by working flexible hours and overtime to ensure the schedule and targets are met
• Completeness of Orders – responsible for completing all orders assigned to your line
• Quality - Windows produced must be to the quality assurance standards as set by Centra. This should be tested and reviewed throughout the line, corrected as needed
• Inventory procurement – reviewing production requirements weeks out and evaluating if there is sufficient inventory to complete orders
• Equipment Care – Responsible to work with Maintenance team to ensure machinery is working and maintained as set by Maintenance team
• Cost Control – Accountable to line budget variance as it relates to labour, minutes paid vs minutes earned, and material resulting from waste and line errors

• Flexibility – in both approach and hours – you will lead both a morning and afternoon team which will require flexible hours and OT
• Decisive decision-making – confident in their knowledge and leadership skills
• Driver – have a vision, a strategy, an eye for detail, and be committed to achieving goals
