Position Overview:

As a Machine Operator at Centra Windows, you'll be an integral part of our manufacturing team, responsible for operating and maintaining advanced machinery to ensure the precise fabrication of our high-performance vinyl windows. Your expertise in machine operation within a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience related to windows, will be key in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing of high-performance vinyl windows.
• Ensure proper calibration and adjustments of machinery to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve optimal workflow and product output.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality control guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and top-notch product quality.
• Record and maintain accurate production data and reports.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment, with preference given to those experienced in window production.
• CNC Operation knowledge an asset
• Welding experience an asset
• Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting machinery, with a keen eye for detail.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
• Strong mechanical skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.

What are the shift times?

• Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Evening Shift: 12:00pm – 8:30pm
• Overtime available
