Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Production Manager is responsible for anything and everything relating to Centra manufacturing line production. They will lead their team to understand and believe in Centra’s vision and production goals. This individual is accountable for ensuring a safe work environment, quality of production, staff performance, cost control, equipment care, and achieving the day-to-day results required as set and agreed with the VP of Manufacturing.

• Lead internal communication through in-person meetings and workplace posts as it relates to recognizing Centra’s staff, manufacturing wins, and production updates.
• Responsible for ensuring daily and weekly targets are met, and if not met, determine a plan to get back on schedule.
• Accountable for the completeness of orders assigned to each line, ensuring applicable notes are entered into the system and closing back ordered items within the set time frame.
• Windows produced must be to the quality assurance standards as set by Centra.
• Responsible for training and development, performance, safety, and instituting performance improvement plans for the team.
• Inventory procurement management.
• Overseeing Equipment Care & Maintenance.
• Accountable to every line budget variance as it relates to labour, minutes paid vs minutes earned, and material resulting from waste and line errors.
• Staff Relations for the Production staff including coaching and development, hiring, dismissals, and reviews.
• Recruit approved new hires.
• Promote and deliver our customer commitment to ‘Where Customers Become Family’.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in lead manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Production Planning is an asset.
• Has been through scaling manufacturing during a period of massive growth (either as an employee or as a leader).
• Proven track record for creative problem solving.
• This position requires overtime and working weekends throughout the year as required.
