The Position:

As the Senior Manager of Window Project Operations, you will lead and manage the project management and pre-construction team to ensure the success of all projects taken on by the team. You will be responsible for ensuring that each project meets Centra standards from the onset through to completion. Additionally, you will develop a culture of business development and strengthen existing relationships with clients. This position requires someone with a strong understanding of building construction, estimating, shop drawings, and specifications. You will bring a team-first attitude, passion for mentorship and customer relations to continuously improve Centra’s project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pre-construction team (estimating, shop drawings) through estimation risk review to project hand-over, ensuring project managers are set-up for success.
• Ensure all high-risk situations are met with quick resolution and clarity, while also ensuring that customer relations are protected.
• Conduct weekly project meetings with each project manager to ensure that all projects are on track and interdepartmental updates are provided weekly.
• Compliance of project management processes ensuring all inspections and reporting are documented and completed as required and organized consistently.
• Ensure that all projects are completed with project close-out documentation, including after-action reviews that are distributed to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Service Manager to ensure that the standards for site service are always maintained and Centra is well-represented on project sites.
• Manage all areas of supply only; projects, single-family, restoration, and dealers to a consistently high level offering an excellent customer experience; must have the ability to pivot between each area as required.
• Assist in developing strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations.
• Create and document new processes. Maintain a database of all process guides.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of building construction, estimating, shop drawings, and specifications.
