Vice President of Centra Alberta

The VP of Centra Alberta is a role not for the faint of heart. It requires dedication, strategic thinking, a growth mindset, a mentor’s heart, and the ability to be creative in order hit our ambitious growth goals.

The Position:

The Vice President of Centra Alberta is responsible and accountable for the results and expansion of Centra’s regional operations in the province of Alberta. This leadership role is critical in supporting the creation of, and execution of, Centra’s strategic plans. The Vice President of Centra Alberta is responsible for achieving all performance goals, driving sales, and accomplish growth through all aspects of the company which includes but not limited to: brand, executing strategy, manpower, efficient operations, and culture. The Vice President is ultimately responsible for performance across all aspects of the business which includes, but not limited to: sales, manufacturing, installations, logistics, customer care, and the Alberta leadership team. Through collaboration with the leadership team in Alberta the Vice Presidents goal is to teach others and coach behaviors to cultivate a high performing team that will scale, grow, and develop our Alberta operations. The Vice President will set the tone and help bring our brand to life to become the industry leader in the Alberta market and will sit at the senior leadership table of Centra representing Alberta

Core Accountabilities include but not limited to:


  • Lead, guide, direct and evaluate the work of the Alberta leadership team and managers
  • Cultivate a culture of respect, accountability, integrity, and team work through active coaching and mentorship
  • Leader has a culture of respect for every person in the organization and has an ability to motivate and inspire their team to take action

Execution of Strategic Plans

  • Responsible for all the profit, loss, results and the financials for the entire Alberta region
  • Brings expertise to the senior leadership table to support the creation of, and execution of Centra’s strategic plans both for Alberta and for Centra as a whole
  • Work through others to accomplish goals and hold senior managers and Alberta leadership accountable for performance in their areas of responsibility

Operations & Financial Management

  • Oversees all operations in Alberta in order to ensure Centra’s strategic vision is carried out
  • Responsible for the revenue growth which will include cost management, operating budgets, capital budgets, forecasts, and financial results for all Alberta Centra operations
  • Responsible for risk mitigation strategies and controls including key role succession, supply chain management, contracts, industry regulation, and safety standards

People Management

  • Assign responsibilities, and develop functional and necessary roles to further our business
  • Attract and hire diverse, and multi-disciplined candidates who bring unique skillsets to help scale Alberta operations
  • Conducts monthly one on ones with each member of the Alberta leadership team to go over results, connect, have a dialog and offer support professionally or personally
  • Utilize and promote Workplace to highlight employees, engage in posts, share important news and celebrate wins

Centra Brand

  • Promote and deliver our customer commitment to ‘Where Customers Become Family’
  • Seek opportunities to build the Centra brand through industry associations, networking, community and charity involvement
  • Partner with Centra’s marketing team to provide location and industry real time feedback to support growth

Centra Culture

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and conduct at work and within the community at all times in support of protecting the brand image
  • A champion of things that Centra values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion, mental health and wellbeing, and advancement from within
  • Foster a culture of constructive conflict in order to flush out issues and heal professional relationships
  • Drive standards and actions that ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion while upholding Centra’s Best Managed Practices

Qualifications we’re looking for:

  • Post-secondary degree in business and / or technical profession such as building envelope or engineering
  • Window & Door industry senior leadership experience
  • Proven history of leading an organization to significant business and financial results growth
