Installing and Adjusting Window Roto or Crank Handles

You shouldn’t need to hire someone to help with your roto or crank handles.

Follow these easy steps to install a new handle or adjust your current one.

Installing and adjusting handles

Begin by installing the cover. Put the handle in place, and then unlock, open, and close the window to ensure you get the positioning of the handle right. The handle can be repositioned once the window is locked again.

Now take a flathead screwdriver and tighten the set screw. Now the handle should be ready to use! Loosening the screw will allow you to adjust the handle to get it into the right position, and if you notice that the handle doesn’t feel right and is coming loose, the screw probably just needs tightening.
