Centra Stampede Buckin’ Breakfast Raises $60,000 for Charity

We’re pleased to announce that Centra’s Stampede Charity Buckin’ Breakfast was a huge success! This year, we were able to raise $60,000 for two great causes: The Shania Twain Foundation and Youth Centres of Calgary. With pancakes flying, tunes cranking, and smiles all around, this wasn’t just breakfast – it was a full-blown Stampede celebration and a testament to community spirit!

Our 2025 Charities

Shania Twain was the star of the show at this year’s Calgary Stampede, so it was only fitting that one of our chosen charities was the Shania Twain Foundation – supporting children and families in crisis due to poverty and other hardships. Her foundation’s mission of youth empowerment, tackling food insecurity, and supporting mental health deeply resonates with Centra’s Employee Owners.

We also supported Youth Centres of Calgary, a fantastic local nonprofit that provides safe spaces, mentorship, meals, and community programs for at-risk youth. Their commitment to the next generation and building strong neighbourhoods is something we’re very proud to stand behind. Our Employee Owners had the honour of touring one of the centres and were deeply moved by their work and care.

We had already raised a considerable amount going into our Stampede Breakfast thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and raffle sales. The breakfast itself was a huge success, and when all was said and done, we raised $30,000 – which Centra Windows matched, dollar-for-dollar! This meant a grand total of $60,000 was raised and split between these two deserving charities.

What a day! Music, fun, games, and delicious food to boot – our 2025 Stampede Buckin’ Breakfast really was a celebration to remember. From the lively tunes to the sizzling pancakes and sausages, this was the perfect way to kick off the 2025 Stampede. The dunk tank proved to be a standout attraction, with our brave Employee Owners volunteering to get soaked for a good cause. Thankfully, they all walked away with smiles on their faces – just like our attendees.

At Centra, we take every opportunity we can to support the incredible communities we serve – and not just with expert window and door replacement. Over the past five years, the Centra Cares Foundation has raised and donated well over $2,000,000 to help those in need. Whether it’s our Home Renovation Contest, our Annual Golf Tournament, our global impact trips, or our Stampede Breakfast, our Employee Owners are always giving back.
