The 2026 Centra Cares Golf Tournament Raises $220,000 for Ronald McDonald House

Every summer, Centra Employee Owners and our sponsors come together to raise money for fantastic causes – and in 2026, we’ve made a huge impact. We’re absolutely thrilled (to announce that our annual Centra Cares Golf Tournament raised an incredible $220,000 for Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon!

This milestone marks our biggest single donation yet – $110,000 raised at our tournament, matched dollar-for-dollar by Centra for a grand total of $220,000 – and it wouldn't have been possible without an entire community of golfers, Centra volunteers, and, most importantly, our incredibly generous sponsors.

Why Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon?

When a child is sick or injured and needs treatment far from home, families shouldn't have to worry about where they'll sleep or find a hot meal. That's exactly what Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon provides: a home away from home, so families can focus on what matters most.

Thanks to this year's tournament, hundreds of families will get a warm bed, a full fridge, and a little bit of normalcy during some of the hardest days of their lives. That's the kind of impact that makes every swing (good or bad) worth it.

What is Centra Cares?

We believe a company is only as good as the lives it improves. Since 2015, we’ve been showing up big for our communities through our very own charitable foundation Centra Cares – hosting golf tournaments, home reno contests, Stampede breakfasts, and embarking on global impact trips. The result? Well over $2,000,000 donated to over 250 incredible charities across Western Canada and beyond.

The secret sauce? Our Employee Owners. They nominate the causes, and we back them up with funding, muscle, and our high-performance products. To us, ownership is a mindset. When you own something, you take care of it – and we take care of home.

Looking Ahead
