Meet Anton Van Dyk, Dpl.T. LEED AP
When it comes to all things windows, Anton Van Dyk is the expert you can trust. He’s our certified Window Geek and has over 20 years of envelope-related consulting and construction experience.
Our team at Centra Windows is proud to have Anton as our Vice President of Sales and Business Development. His wealth of knowledge and expertise allow him to oversee the technical development of our high-performance products, as well as the implementation of new windows standards into our manufacturing and sales departments. He takes great pride in educating the public on key construction topics with his CTV and Global television appearances. Give them a watch and you’re bound to see him eventually!
Prior to becoming an integral part of the Centra Windows family, Anton was actively involved in the building science consulting industry. He worked on everything from multi-million dollar building envelope rehabilitation on existing occupied buildings to small scale repairs such as deck and window upgrades.
Working on construction projects has given him a great understanding of mixed-use wood and concrete frames for both low and high-rise buildings. His building envelope experience ranges from standard rainscreen concepts and high-performance pressure equalized rainscreen cavities to pre-cast wall systems. Having someone with this wealth of knowledge is important to Centra, as our focus is not solely on windows.
Anton specialized in air barrier concepts along with continuous exterior insulation methods. He has worked with multiple window and glazing products, ranging from curtain wall, window wall, storefront, fiberglass, and vinyl tilt-and-turn and nail-on flange windows.
He has a special ability to combine his expertise and science when developing window testing protocols and field testing of windows and doors. His experience has allowed him to contribute to many building restoration projects ranging from full cladding replacement to window retrofitting on high exposed buildings and low exposed single-family homes.
