Edmonton Grand Opening: Community, Fun, & Window Replacement Done Right

On Saturday, May 30th, Centra Windows & Install Pros officially opened the doors to our brand new, state-of-the-art Edmonton showroom – and what a day it was! From free food and kids' activities to a $20,000 charity donation and tours of our Alberta-made windows and doors, the grand opening was everything we hoped it would be: a true community celebration.

DIY Kids Carpentry: Guided by our team, kids got to build and take home their very own wooden planter box – soil and seeds included. A hands-on, creative activity that sent every little builder home with something to be proud of.

Hockey Shot Challenge: Edmonton kids are born with sticks in their hands, and our hockey shot challenge proved it. Some of the young players genuinely knocked our socks off – we definitely met some future Oilers!

And for the adults? Everyone who attended had a chance to win a $5,000 Entry Door, plus a selection of other exciting prizes up for grabs throughout the event!

Supporting Local Families: $20,000 for Kids Included

Community giving is at the heart of what Centra does – and the grand opening was no exception.

For every attendee who came through the doors, we donated $100 to Kids Included, a local charity that supports children with disabilities and their families right here in Edmonton. The response from the community was incredible: we hit (and surpassed, with our 215 attendees) our maximum donation target, resulting in a $20,000 contribution to Kids Included. We couldn't be more proud of that result, and we're deeply grateful to everyone who showed up and made it possible.

Celebrating Local Partnerships

The grand opening was also a chance to shine a spotlight on some great local businesses. We were joined by Men in Kilts and Pursuit of Motion Physiotherapy, who set up on the day to meet attendees, talk about their services, and offer free physiotherapy checkups and massages. Both partners also generously donated prizes – a reflection of the kind of community spirit that makes Edmonton so special.
