The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Senior Accountant role for someone who wants real ownership of the numbers. You will play a critical role in keeping the accounting function accurate, disciplined, and audit-ready while supporting the business with reliable financial information. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll oversee core accounting operations, contribute to month-end close, strengthen internal controls, and partner with teams across the business to ensure financial accuracy in day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for a senior accountant who thrives on accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement, with a clear focus on strengthening processes and making the accounting function work better across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Own the integrity and accuracy of core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger
• Lead key elements of month-end and year-end close, ensuring reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules are completed accurately and on time
• Provide senior-level oversight and review of AP and AR activity, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with company policies
• Support audits and maintain audit-ready financial records
• Partner with the Controller and cross-functional leaders to resolve complex accounting issues and support business decision-making
• Identify and implement improvements that strengthen accounting processes, controls, and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in an operational, project-based, or complex business environment
• Proven experience owning full-cycle AP and AR oversight, general ledger accuracy, and month-end close
• Strong experience supporting audits, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Advanced Excel skills and strong system aptitude, with experience working in ERP environments
• Demonstrated ability to review work, exercise judgment, and maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to work cross-functionally and resolve issues with operations and leadership
• A hands-on, continuous improvement mindset with the ability to strengthen processes, controls, and efficiency
