• Droppings and bug splats should be soaked first to allow them to soften.
• The entire surface should be wiped until it is dry. This prevents residue and spots appearing in sunlight.
• People should clean both the interior and exterior of the window.

• For sliding screens and awning style screens that cannot be easily removed, vacuum or blow out dust with the window open. 
• Now that the screen is clean, you can just pop it back into position!
• To reinstall, simply compress the spring side of the track on the right side and use the pull tab to slip it into the track on the left side. Repeat for the bottom. 

Do screens need to be removed to be cleaned or can they can cleaned in place? 

• Window and door screens can be very handy things to have, but how do you go about cleaning them? Screens are delicate, so avoid using sharp tools or picking. 

Removing the screen:

• To remove, push on the top right spring area and use your other hand to push out the top left of the screen using the pull tab. Repeat at the bottom once you’re done.

• Now you get the screen looking like new again! Rinse with water, a low-pressure hose will do. Using a soft vacuum brush is a good way to remove any dust
• For sliding screens and awning style screens that cannot be easily removed, vacuum or blow out dust with the window open.

• Crack open a window or door for a few minutes daily to have air flow through your home.
• Open your drapes and blinds to allow air to circulate against the windows.
• Use energy efficient bath fans with a de-humidistat to regulate the moisture in the air
• Use exhaust fans in your kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms.
• Make sure your clothes dryer is properly vented to the outside and your vent ducts are sealed.
• Don't forget to turn down your heat to reduce the difference in temperature between inside and outside.
• Every house is different, and every homeowner has a different issue. Depending on where the condensation is on the window, it may not be a cause for concern. However, if you see condensation in between the panes of glass, you need to address the problem.
